Lynx Network Group Receives Investment from Plymouth Management Company

Lynx Network Group, a Kalamazoo, Michigan-based full service telecommunications company specializing in advancing high-speed next generation infrastructure in tier 2 and tier 3 markets, has received an equity investment from Plymouth Management Company.

The investment, which was made by the Plymouth Venture Partners Fund II (PVP II), will help the company further expand their capabilities. Lynx Network Group is currently constructing 1000 miles of fiber optic network infrastructure throughout Michigan (Monroe, Adrian, Hillsdale, Coldwater, Three Rivers, Benton Harbor, South Haven, Zeeland, Grand Haven, Muskegon, Ludington, Manistee, Beulah, Traverse City, Kalkaska, Charlevoix, Petoskey, Mackinaw City, Gaylord, Grayling, Houghton Lake, Clare, Mt. Pleasant, Midland, Bay City, and Oscoda) for the purposes of connecting businesses, organizations and wireless service providers.

More than half of the project will be completed during 2011 with full operativity in 2012.

Founded in 2003 by Gregg Rutgers, Lynx Network Group provides wholesale and retail telecommunication services to Businesses, CLECs, ILECS, Resellers, and Wireline/Wireless Carriers.
