BuzzLogic, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of online media company that provides a scalable media index and analytics platform designed to improve brand metrics and ROI, has closed a $7.8m Series C funding round.
The round was led by Bridgescale Partners, with participation from existing investor Adams Capital Management and others.
The company also secured debt financing from Bridge Bank.
BuzzLogic intends to use the funds to enhance its technology platform, introduce new advertising products for the social and conversational web, and double its sales and account management team.
Led by CEO Dave Hills, the company provides advertisers and agencies BuzzLogic with a social and conversational media solution based on a technology that indexes and ranks content and utilizes analytics to recognize topic and the conversational media around it, hence identifying the best opportunities for advertisers.
Clients includes Proctor & Gamble, Toyota, Best Buy, PlayStation, Microsoft, and Starbucks.
BuzzLogic also operates offices in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.
