B.V. Electronic (BVE), a Danish supplier of computer-based SCADA systems for process control and special software for the industry, has been acquired by Via Venture Partners (VIA) and the employees of the company.
With the transaction, whose amount remained undisclosed, VIA and 19 of the company’s employees including current CEO, Kurt G. Andersen, will own a major stake in BVE.
Current 100% owner, Bjarne Vium, will remain a part of the new ownership structure and remain active on the board.
In conjunction with the investment, Peter Haahr, partner in VIA, will join BVE’s board as chairman.
