Webstep, a Bergen-based consulting firm in the Norwegian IT-industry, has received an equity investment of undisclosed amount from Reiten & Co Capital Partners VII L.P.
Following the transaction, Reiten VII will have a 62.5% stake in the company with the remaining shares will be held by management and employees.
According to CEO Kjetil Eriksen, Webstep will continue to attract and retain highly skilled senior consultants, and will strengthen its position by establishing offices in new places and considering new business areas.
Established in 2000, the company delivers IT-consultants to medium and large businesses in a broad range of industries. It currently has 220 employees in their offices in Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger and Trondheim and a turnover of NOK 265m.
