School of Rock Receives Additional $3.5M Investment

School of Rock, a Teaneck, NJ-based music education company for kids from age 7 to 18, received an additional $3.5m investment from its majority shareholder Sterling Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its North American expansion. Two new locations will be opened this summer in Port Jefferson, NY and Annapolis, MD.
Led by Chairman and CEO Chris Catalano, School of Rock has almost 69 schools in 25 states and Mexico, serving over 6,500 students. Areas of instruction including guitar, drums, keyboards, bass guitar and vocals.
