Nutanix Raises $13.2M in Series A Funding

Nutanix, a Santa Clara, CA-based developer of a converged compute and storage appliance for virtualized data centers, has raised $13.2m in Series A funding round.

Investors include Lightspeed Venture Partners and Blumberg Capital.
Founded by CEO Dheeraj Pandey CTO Mohit Aron, and CPO Ajeet Singh, Nutanix has developed a complete appliance that is designed to bring data closer to virtual machines, and deliver true convergence through a combination of scalable software and industry-standard hardware components, reducing capital costs, power consumption and administration costs.
The company’s board of directors now includes Ravi Mhatre and Bipul Sinha from Lightspeed Venture Partners.
