DoubleDutch Closes $1.2M Seed Financing

DoubleDutch, a San Francisco, CA-based start up that provides events, field team management, and collaboration apps, closed a $1.2m seed round of financing.
Backers include Lightbank, Charles River Ventures, Launch Capital, Accelerator Ventures, Venture51, Zig Capital, and a number of angel investors.
Founded in early 2009 by Lawrence Coburn and Mathew Spolin, DoubleDutch develops mobile resource management tools, which are designed to help field employees log customer visits, access contextually relevant information, and location-based networking and discovery apps, which enable attendees connect and network in and around an event.
The company’s customer list now includes Cisco, HP, Adobe, Gannett, TED, among the others.
