MobPartner Raises $3.5M in First Financing Round

MobPartner, a Paris, France-based mobile affiliate network, closed a $3.5m first round of financing.
Investors include Alven Capital and Newfund.
This company intends to use the funds to accelerate its international growth, consolidating its presence in Europe and North America and strengthen its presence in emerging markets including Asia, Africa, Latin America.
Founded in 2008 by CEO Vianney Settini and Guillaume Alabert, MobPartner operates a mobile affiliate marketing platform that allows advertisers to pay per a defined action such as sales (Cost per Sale), registration (Cost per Lead) or downloads (Cost per Download / Install). This is particularly pertinent for in app advertising (iOS, Android and soon WP7).
To date, the company has partnered with hundreds of advertisers and has more than 100,000 affiliates worldwide.
