Guardian Analytics Raises $11M in Series D Funding

Guardian Analytics, a Los Altos, Calif.-based provider of behavioral analytics fraud prevention software, has raised $11m in Series D funding.
Investors include new backer Split Rock Partners and existing shareholders Foundation Capital and Sutter Hill Ventures.
The company intends to use the funding to advance its direct and channel sales efforts and to further enhance its proven product lines with expanded risk analytics and solutions to address the growing problem of fraud in financial institutions.
In connection with the financing, Jim Simons, managing director at Split Rock Partners, joins Guardian Analytics’ Board of Directors.
Founded in 2005 and led by CEO Terry Austin, the company provides banking institutions of all sizes, from national to community banks to credit unions provides with solutions to prevent online banking fraud and protect individual account assets.
