Yoyi Media Completes US$20M Series B Financing Round

Yoyi Media, a Chinese provider of precision targeted online advertising and marketing solutions for advertisers and media publishers, completed a US$20m Series B financing.
The round was led by Oak Investment Partners, with participation from existing investors Steamboat Ventures and Gobi Partners.
The company intends to use the capital to enhance its video and rich media advertising platform, expand sales force and marketing network.
The platform, which has already been used by Toyota, P&G, Dell, Microsoft, Adidas and Carlsberg, is designed to help advertisers build online brand loyalty through interacting with millions of customers based on each individual’s characteristics, including age, profession, geographic location, income level and personal interests.
In conjunction with the funding, Ren Riley, General Partner of Oak Investment Partners, will join the company’s board of directors.
Founded in 2007 by CEO Junfeng Liu, Yoyi Media provides both impression-based and performance-based advertising solutions that enables marketers and brands to reach targeted audience based on their demographics, behavior, expectation, time, and location. The company has support centers in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou.
