Film Fresh, Inc., a Los Angeles, CA-based on-line film service, has raised $2m in equity funding.
The company intends to use the funds, which come from a private investment group, to expand its digital film download service to new devices and touchpoints.
Founded in 2005 and led by CEO Rick Bolton, Film Fresh offers Hollywood, independent and world cinema for sale and rental in download format through its online destination at FilmFresh.com.
The company recently closed a partnership with Sonic Solutions to place its stores on wireless Blu-Ray and connected TV devices.
