AirWalk Communications Inc., a Richardson, Texas-based provider of IP-based Radio Access Network (IP-RAN) solutions, raised a further $10m in Series B funding.
This round was led by Sevin Rosen, with participation from TL Ventures, Alta Berkeley, Duchossois Technology Partners and Nedelco Inc.
The company intends to use the investment to expand its small cell product portfolio, consisting of femtocells, enterprise femtocells, picocells and microcells, enhance the capabilities of existing Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) products and launch LTE solutions.
Established in 2002 and led by president and CEO Serge Pequeux, AirWalk offers a complete line of IP-based Radio Access Network (IP-RAN) solutions that enable network expansion for CDMA wireless service providers. As operators deploy 4G/LTE networks, small cells delivers seamless coverage and capacity. The company has a worldwide customer base.
