Voxel Completed First Round of Funding

Voxel Dot Net, Inc., a New York City-based provider of hybrid cloud hosting and managed services, has completed its first round of funding.
The company intends to use the capital, whose amount remained undisclosed, to grow in the global Infrastructure markets.
In addition, the company has appointed Raul K. Martynek, an industry veteran, as CEO and a member of the board. Raj Dutt, Voxel’s Founder and CEO since 1999, becomes CTO.
Previously, Mr. Martynek served as COO at Eureka Networks, President, CEO and a director at Eureka Networks and InfoHighway Communications. Most recently, he was a Senior Advisor to Plainfield Asset Management and the Chief Restructuring Officer of Smart Telecom. Mr. Martynek currently serves as a director of Broadview Networks Holdings, Inc.
Voxel offers hosting services via its open automation platform, VoxSTRUCTURE. Services include on-demand physical and virtual cloud servers, the VoxCAST Global Content Delivery Network (CDN), and a full suite of Managed Services for complex hosting deployments. The company maintains strategic global hosting and network points of presence worldwide.
DH Capital, an investment banking firm serving companies in the Internet infrastructure and communications sectors, assisted Voxel in recruiting Mr. Martynek and raising capital.
