Univa Raises $7M in new Funding Round

Univa, a Lisle, Illinois-based data center optimization company, has secured $7m in new financing.
Participating in the funding are new investors Core Capital Partners and Hatteras Funds and existing investors River Cities Capital Funds, ARCH Venture Partners, New World Ventures and Appian Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its market strategy.

Led by president and CEO Gary Tyreman, Univa provides optimization and management software for traditional, dynamic and cloud data centers. 
The products are designed to allow companies to achieve superior levels of efficiency through improved resource sharing, amplified efficiency of people and processes, and increased application and license utilization.
Univa operates offices worldwide.
