PHP Fog, a PHP-based Platform-as-a-Service cloud computing platform, has secured $1.8m in financing.
Investors include Madrona Venture Group, First Round Capital, Founder’s Co-Op, and other angel investors.
PHP Fog, which is currently in private beta and expects to launch publicly in the first half of 2011, offers one-click deployments for many PHP apps and frameworks including WordPress, Drupal, Kohana, Zend, and SugarCRM.
In conjunction with the funding, Tim Porter, a Partner at Madrona Venture Group, will join the company’s board.
Founded in 2010 by Lucas Carlson, the company is based in Portland, Oregon.
