33Across, a US-based social targeting platform, has closed a $9m Series B round of funding.
The investment was led by Flybridge Capital Partners, with participation from Series A investors, First Round Capital and QED Investors.
In conjunction with the financing, Flybridge Capital’s General Partner Jon Karlen will join the company’s board of directors.
As also stated by CEO and co-founder Eric Wheeler, 33Across will use the new capital to expand technology, product and sales initiatives.
The company’s technology – called SocialDNA™ – uses social graph data to improve online marketing enabling clients to discover and reach the social networks that surround their brands.
33Across operates offices in New York, San Francisco, Sunnyvale, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Detroit and Atlanta.
