PacketMotion, a Sunnyvale, CA-based provider of User Activity Management (UAM) solutions, closed an additional $2.7m in Series C round of funding.
This brings the company’s total amount raised in this third round to $8.4m.
The investment was led by Reservoir Venture Partners, with participation from all existing investors including Athenian Venture Partners, Intel Capital, Mohr Davidow Ventures and Onset Ventures.
PacketMotion intends to use the capital to continue expanding marketing and sales force and distribution channels for its PacketSentry™ Manager and Probe, which help mid- to large-sized enterprises meet compliance and audit requirements (PCI DSS, SOX, HIPAA, etc.), while delivering security functionality such as the ability to immediately stop user behavior that violates internal policies.
The company operates a development centre in Bangalore, India.
