Multigig Raises US$10m in Series C Financing

Multigig, a Scotts Valley, CA-based fabless semiconductor company that provides advanced clock generation and timing products for the wired and wireless communications markets, has raised US$10m in Series C financing.
Investors include Zarlink Semiconductor (TSX:ZL), which committed US$5m, CMEA Capital and Sierra Ventures.
Multigig intends to use the capital to invest in the continuing development of its RotaryWave™ timing technology, which delivers clocks with extremely low jitter for high-speed communication applications. It works on all existing manufacturing processes and no manufacturing changes are required to implement RotaryWave clocks into a design.
It is protected by over 30 issued patents.
