RealMatch Closes $4.7M Series B Financing

RealMatch, an East Brunswick, N.J.-based company that operates an ad network for e-recruiting, closed a $4.7m Series B financing.
The round was led by Carmel Ventures, with participation from existing investors Baytech Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand sales and marketing activities in the US.
In conjunction with the funding, Marcel Legrand, a former SVP in Monster.com has joined the company as CEO. Additionally, Ronen Nir, partner at Carmel Ventures, joined RealMatch’s board of directors.
The company’s mission is to provide employers and job seekers with a better way to connect. Founded in 2007 by Gal Almog, RealMatch leverages a Pay-for-Performance model that allows employers post jobs across the network for free. Only after reviewing their group of matching applicants and resumes they are offered to purchase the results. 
The company’s technology, called Real-Time Job Matching ™, enable people specifically define themselves, their needs and their preferences eliminating from the process the need to search for keyword.
