Havgul Clean Energy Raises NOK50M

Havgul Clean Energy, an Oslo, Norway-based wind power project developing company, has raised NOK50m (approximately €6.1m) in equity financing.

Investors include Investinor, which committed NOK25m, Sustainable Technologies Fund and Harald Dirdal (photo), who is one of the founders of the company.

In conjunction with the deal, Helle Moen, Investinor Investment Director, will join Havgul’s board of directors.
Founded in 2008 by Harald Dirdal, Ketil Reed Asgard, Karl and Emil Hesstvedt Torkildsen, the company has established a portfolio of wind projects in various stages of development, on land and offshore, in Norway, in the rest of Europe  (mainly in Poland and Sweden) and in the USA.
Havgul currently employs five full-time staff.
