Benjoy Nutrition Receives Funding

Benjoy Nutrition, a Basingstoke, UK-based children’s food company, has received an investment of undisclosed amount.
The transaction was led by the South East Seed Fund, which is managed by Finance South East, with participation from 3en Ventures and a group of angel investors.
Founded two years ago by Michelle Daniells, the company has developed healthy foods, made from 100% natural ingredients.
Launched in October this year, Benjoy Nutrition’s initial range of seven snacks includes freeze-dried fruit slices, breadsticks with vegetables and seeds, multigrain bites and unsalted root vegetable crisps. Single portions are packaged in anti-spill solutions, called Munchcups, which are currently available from Ocado and Morrisons.
