Torrent Technologies, Inc., a business services company, has received an investment of undisclosed amount from Century Focused Fund II, a private equity fund sponsored and managed by Century Capital Management, LLC.
Through its flagship product, TorrentFlood®, the company provides back office policy and claims processing services to private insurance carriers that participate in National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).
The company will use the capital to support its growth and to recapitalize early investors.
As part of this transaction, Century will hold a minority stake in Torrent.
Founded in February 2005, Torrent has offices in Seattle, Washington, Kalispell, Montana and New Carrollton, Maryland.
