Rankomat.pl, a Polish online insurance aggregator, has agreed to receive an up to 12m Polish zlotys equity investment with the 3TS Cisco Growth Fund, which is managed by 3TS Capital Partners.
As a result of the transaction, the fund acquired a minority stake in the firm. Rankomat.pl will receive the amount over the next 12 months.
The company, which was founded in 2008, has a strong focus on automotive insurance and is currently the leader of its market in terms of both traffic, scope of
aggregation and revenue. Rankomat.pl employs a team with insurance and on-line expertise and is lead by Wojciech Rabiej.
Commenting on the investment, he said: “Having 3TS Capital Partners on board is of great value to Rankomat.pl. We are convinced our new partners will support our growth not only through funding, but also through their extensive know-how, deep understanding and active involvement in other online and financial service companies across CEE.
“The size of our deal is also a clear signal that Rankomat.pl has the necessary resources to compete for a significant share of the financial brokerage market”, Rabiej added.
