New Relic Closes $10M in Series C Venture Financing

New Relic, Inc., a San Francisco, CA-based software-as-a-service provider of application performance management (APM) solutions, has closed $10m in Series C venture financing.

The round was led by Tenaya Capital, with participation from Allen & Co., Benchmark Capital and Trinity Ventures.
According to a press release, the company will use the funds to continue to grow as a market-leading provider of cloud services management solutions for web applications developed in Ruby, Java or JRuby.
New Relic RPM is designed to provide 24×7 visibility and code-level diagnostics for web applications deployed on traditional, dedicated infrastructures, private and public clouds.
New Relic, which currently serves over 5,500 customers, has also expanded the application development languages it supports to include .NET and PHP in addition to existing support for Java and Ruby.
