Sapling Learning, Inc., an Austin, Texas-based provider of online learning platforms and integrated digital solutions for the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) marketplace, has received $2.5m in growth capital financing from NLM Capital Partners.
The funds will be used to broaden current product offerings and expand sales, marketing, and business development initiatives in response to growing market demand.
Since 2005, Sapling Learning has provided a software-as-a-service online homework platform that integrates online assessment, homework, and eBook solutions to both the higher education and high school markets. Over 100,000 students have used Sapling Learning’s online homework system, to date.
