Garden Price – Les Nouvelles Jardineries, a Maurepas, France-based chain of low-cost garden stores, has received a €2m equity investment from funds managed by Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners.
The transaction enables Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners to acquire a 25% stake in the company.
Founded by Benoit Combes and Antoine de Courcel in 2006, Garden Price currently generates a turnover of €6m through 5 stores located in Ile de France (Corbeil-Essonnes, Ballainvilliers, Maurepas-Coignières, Ezanville et Aubergenville-Flins).
The capital infusion is expected to accelerate the pace of opening of new stores in order to achieve a turnover of €25m by 2015.
