Cint Closes €10M Funding Round

Cint, a Stockholm, Sweden-based provider of online market research solutions, has closed a €10m (approximately US$13m) round of new funding.
The investment was led by Prime Technology Ventures, with participation from existing owners and Creandum.
Funds will be used to expand the business in both existing and new markets, as well as further building out the product portfolio and strengthening the team.
The Cint Panel Exchange (CPX) provides market researchers with fully automated access to panels of 4 million profiled individuals across 40 countries. The company’s global expansion started in 2008 with offices in US, Canada, Spain, Denmark and Russia and during 2009 and 2010 additional offices were opened in UK, Germany and the Netherlands.
In conjunction with the funding, Alexander Ribbink, lead Partner at Prime Technology Ventures, will join Clint’s board of directors.
The company recently launched Cint Direct – an automated API, which aims to provide an efficient way of accessing Cint’s world-wide panel base for any market researcher.
