Yottaa, a Boston, MA-based cloud-computing company that provides a solution allowing users to monitor, analyze and improve site performance, closed a $4m round of venture funding.Investors include General Catalyst Partners, Stata Venture Partners and CambridgeWest Ventures.
The company, which was co-founded in April 2009, by Coach Wei, an expert of Web 2.0 and Rich Internet Application technologies and founder and chairman of Nexaweb, also unveiled its suite of free Web performance analytics tools in public beta.
Yottaa’s first product, Yottaa Insight, is available in beta and allows users to monitor, rank and analyze the performance of their web sites for free. They can visit www.yottaa.com, enter a URL and learn about a website performance and user experience over time, and across multiple geographies.
The product also enables users to link their Google Analytics account to provide deeper insight into the correlation between site performance and business objectives.
