TerraGo Technologies, an Atlanta, GA-based provider of geospatial collaboration software solutions that help organizations create GeoPDF maps and imagery, has raised $3m in funding.
Investors include new strategic partner HitachiSoft and existing backers.
The capital infusion will allow the company to expand and open new markets globally.
In the first half of 2010, TerraGo added new customers in and beyond its core U.S. government business, bolstered its government sales team, and made significant solution enhancements with new and upgraded geospatial collaboration products.
Today, clients include thousands of global organizations, including many defense and intelligence agencies, petroleum and utility companies, public safety departments, and environmental engineering teams.
Products include:
– the TerraGo Publisher™ Suite that allows organizations to consume and optimize data from any source and create a geo-enabled PDF and imagery;
– the TerraGo Collaboration™ Suite that provides desktop, Web-based and mobile software applications automating geospatial collaboration and information gathering;
– the TerraGo Composer™, which is used in conjunction with the above mentioned products, allow users to configure 2D and 3D maps, imagery, and digital GeoPDF MapBooks while embedding relevant business context, forms, and workflows.
Industry leading GIS vendors including Adobe, ESRI, ERDAS, Intergraph, BAE Systems, and Trimble have incorporated TerraGo’s software into their offerings.
