Realtime Technology Receives Equity Investment from Siemens Venture Capital

Realtime Technology AG, a Munich, Germany-based listed public limited company (Xetra: R1T; WKN: 701220; ISIN: DE0007012205) that provides high-end visualization software and services, has received an equity investment of undisclosed amount from Siemens Venture Capital GmbH.
By providing 3D visualization solutions which highlight products informatively and enable them to be experienced in realtime, the company assists customers mainly in the automotive, aviation and consumer goods industries, throughout the whole life cycle of thier products – from development, design and marketing to sales and distribution.
In the future, the company plans to invest in extensive process solutions and to expand into other market segments. Commenting on the investment, Ludwig A. Fuchs, Realtime Technology co-founder and board member, was quoted as saying: “Siemens Venture Capital has the means and the know-how to bring Realtime Technology to the next level.
“We look forward to starting this new era of our company’s development, which will offer us additional growth opportunities”, he added.
Founded in 1999 the company employs over 400 people in 14 sites across the world (including RTT USA headquarters in Pasadena, CA, and an office in Royal Oak, Mich.).
Customers include well-known companies operating all over the world such as Adidas, Audi, BASF, BMW, Bosch, Daimler, EADS, Harley-Davidson, Miele, Porsche, Samsung, Thyssen-Krupp, Toyota and Volkswagen.
