PurpleTalk Launches PollenEight

PurpleTalk Inc., a California-based mobile application development company, has launched PollenEight, an incubator and venture fund for mobile startups in India.
PollenEight aims to provide aspiring entrepreneurs and engineers with seed capital, resources and mentorship by a variety of industry experts to start their own venture.
Aspiring mobile developers and entrepreneurs can apply through the website http://www.polleneight.com. The deadline for the first round of applications is October 15th, 2010. Along with the idea itself, selection for funding will be based on a diffenrent criteria including the team composition, size, level of interest, ambition and the technical capabilities of the team.
As mentioned above, during the incubation phase, PollenEight will provide, in addition to funding, guidance from industry veterans.
The entrepreneurs will also attend occasional social events where they will be able to demonstrate their early prototypes.
At the end of the incubation period, PollenEight will organize a media event for all the founders to launch their products.
