Hercules Capital, via its Herkules Private Equity Fund III, has reached an agreement to acquire Intelecom, an Oslo, Norway-based enterprise communications solution provider with operations in Sweden, Denmark and UK.
The transaction is expected to close mid September.
Herkules III is acquiring the company from AWilhelmsen Capital, Kistefos Venture Capital, Telenor Communications II and minority shareholders.
Interecom serves both the on-site and hosted segments and its product offering includes switchboard and call centre solutions, SMS systems, corporate IP telephony, data communication solutions and unified communications.
In 2009 the turnover for the group was NOK552m. The company currently employes 215 people.
