eDirect Impact, a Montgomery, TX-based information management consulting firm providing Discovery Workflow Management solutions to corporate counsel, law firms, and businesses, has received a majority investment of undisclosed amount from IE Discovery.The funding will allow eDirect Impact to enhance the functionality of its discovery workflow management technology, eManage, and provide greater integration with a wider array of electronic discovery applications and review platforms.
In addition to the equity stake, IE Discovery – an Austin, Texas-based Discovery Management solutions provider to the legal community – has obtained an exclusive license to deploy eManage workflow management technology in the corporate and government markets.
eManage, which is built, in part, on the SharePoint platform, simplifies the project management aspect of electronic discovery, while automating workflow and providing real-time reports to clients and counsel.
