Zattikka Ltd., a London, UK-based creator of online social games, has raised $5.5m through its parent company Expedite 5, Inc.The investment was led by Notion Capital and a group of private individuals including Harald Ludwig.
The company will use the funding to invest in recruitment, research and development and marketing to further broaden its portfolio of browser and mobile games.
Founded in August 2009 by former Virgin games executives, Tim Chaney and Mark Opzoomer, Zattikka has established its position in the industry with the creation of over 100 games and the acquistion of Gimme5Games, a free and premium web games portal.
