Tri-O-Gen Group B.V., a Goor, The Netherlands-based producer of Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) units which convert low value heat into high value electricity where heat would otherwise be wasted or cooled away to ambient air, completed a €4.5m financing round. The round, which was completed by Yellow& Blue Investment Management, a Dutch-based clean energy investor, also included a substantial investment from Tri-O-Gen’s management and founders.
The company, which has developed reference sites in the Netherlands, France and Portugal, is currently in the process of creating a network of sales partners in other European countries. The funds will be used for the continued deployment of its ORC units in the Netherlands and across Europe.
