SiSense Secures $4M in Series A Funding

SiSense LTD, a Netanya, Israel-based provider of business intelligence (BI) solutions, has secured $4m in Series A funding.

Investors in the round include Opus Capital, Genesis Partners and private investor Eli Farkash, who co-founded SiSense and was the original seed investor in the company.
The company’s Prism delivers end-to-end BI, which can be implemented in a matter of hours without special expertise. Customers don’t need to implement expensive and time-consuming IT projects, and data warehouse systems.
The technologies developed by SiSense during the course of five years, including “just-in-time in-memory” processing, allow Prism to execute complex queries against millions or billions of records in just seconds, using ordinary PC hardware.
The funding will be used to expand marketing and sales operations in the US, and to further develop its product, which has been already delivered to dozens of paying customers.
