Angel investing group Robin Hood Ventures has established an office in the Philadelphia, PA-based University City Science Center’s Port business incubator.
Robin Hood is a group of experienced entrepreneurs and accredited investors focused on investing in early stage companies located in the Mid-Atlantic region, primarily scalable companies with intellectual property.
Since its inception in 1999, it has invested $11m in 30 companies.
Other new Port residents include:
– Biologistics Consulting, an independent consulting firm specialized in the medical device, biotech and pharma industry.
– DMX, which offers high-quality bioreagents and services including large quantities of antibodies and other research reagents, customized antibody production and other customized bioreagents and services.
– Nuvon, which is developing a patent-pending platform – VEGA (Vectored Event Grid Architecture) – that enables complete access to point-of-care medical devices and patient care data from any location.
