paper.li Closes Financing Round

paper.li, a Switzerland-based online service that organizes links shared on Twitter into a newspaper-style format, has closed a new financing round of undisclosed amount.
The new capital will be used to add partners among established media businesses.
As stated in a post on the company’s blog, paper.li is “currently working on providing generic new functionalities to the service, along with support for further languages”. This effort should bring to the release of a beta version in the next weeks.
Investors in the company include Venture Incubator AG, Econa, a German-based group of internet companies, Kima Ventures, a private equity fund founded by Xavier Niel, Jeremie Berrebi, and other business angels.
