Movitas, a Collegeville, PA-based provider of hospitality-focused mobile solutions, has raised $3m from a group of private investors.The company will use the funding to further develop its platform, which focuses on revenue opportunities of real-time communication between travel businesses and consumers before, during, and after their stay.
It currently provides hospitality-focused mobile solution and an integrated suite of publishing, marketing, messaging and advertising applications.
Movitas’ customers include Choice Hotels International, Ocean Properties and Kohler Resorts in the lodging industry; Poconos CVB and Atlantic City CVB in the destinations industry; Travelcom, DMAI and HSMAI in the meetings industry.
