Compass Labs Secures $5m in Funding

Compass Labs, a San Jose, CA-based real-time social precision targeting company, has secured $5m in funding.
The round was led by NEA and Triple Point Capital, with participation from individual investors, such as Jim Clark, among others.
The funds will be used to continue product and sales infrastructure development.

Compass Labs’ solution enables brands and marketers to target potential buyers at the exact moment they are contemplating a purchase by interpreting natural language and extracting meaning from public social content.

Founded in 2009, The company was fofficially launched at the inaugural TechCrunch Disrupt Startup Battlefield on May 25, 2010.
