Business Insider Raises $3M

Business Insider, a New York-based digital media startup, has raised $3m in a new round of financing.
Investors include RRE Ventures and existing backers Allen & Co., Kohlberg Ventures, Pilot Group, Marc Andreessen, Gordon Crovitz, Ken Lerer of Lerer Ventures, and others.
This capital will help the company continue to expand content, launch new tech features, and international editions.
In conjunction with the investment, RRE co-founder and partner Stu Ellman will join the board of the company.
