Zenprise, Inc., a Fremont, CA-based provider of enterprise mobile management and device management software, closed a $9m round of financing.
The round was led by Rembrandt Venture Partners, with participation from exisiting investors Ignition Partners, Bay Partners, Mayfield and Shasta Ventures.
The company’s software, which is supported by smartphone platforms including BlackBerry, iPhone, Palm, Windows Mobile and Android devices, automates all aspects of mobile management, from monitoring to troubleshooting, from expense management to device management, from security to compliance.
The new capital will be used to continue to expand sales and marketing efforts as well as conduct research and development activities.
In conjunction with the financing, Doug Schrier, General Partner at Rembrandt Venture Partners, joins the company’s board of directors.
Zenprise’s customers include Comcast, Boeing Corporation, Shook Hardy & Bacon LLP, Varian Medical Systems and Vodafone.
