– Benjamin Sun, co-founder and CEO of CommunityConnect,
– Auren Hoffman, founder and CEO of RapLeaf,

In conjunction with the funding, Anthony Lee from Altos Ventures and Eric Kim from Maverick Capital will be joining Kontagent’s board.
Founded in 2007 by serial entrepreneurs Jeffrey Tseng and Albert Lai, Kontagent develops a viral analytics platform, which is deployed by social game and app developers on Facebook.
The company will use the capital to extend its technology platform (that currently tracks over 60 million users monthly) and increase its sales and marketing efforts. Kontagent is hiring and expanding its engineering, sales and marketing teams in both its offices, in San Francisco and Toronto, Ontario.
