International Sports Tours Ltd., a Cardiff, Wales, UK-based company which operates team sports development programmes with football clubs throughout the UK and Europe, has secured £500,000 follow-on debt and equity investment from Finance Wales.
Finance Wales already provided start-up and development capital funding to the business totalling £50,000.
The company, which provides schools and youth groups with sport development programmes, travel and accommodation at some of Europe’s top football and rugby clubs (including Chelsea, Real Madrid, AC Milan, Valencia, Liverpool, Fulham, Biarritz Olympique, Le Stade Francaise, Leinster, etc.), will use the new funds to add sales professionals, and develop new IT systems. As part of the expansion, the company, which trades as Inspiresport, has already obtained the Air Travel Organisers (ATOL) License.
