HitFix, an online entertainment magazine, has raised $1.6m in a second round of funding.The investment was made by the angel investment network Tech Coast Angels (TCA). In conjunction with the funding, TCA investor, Yuri Pikover, will join the company’s board of directors.
HitFix is a resource that relies on entertainment commentators and journalists such as Alan Sepinwall, Drew McWeeny, Daniel Fienberg and Melinda Newman to produce breaking news and insider analysis to fans of movies, music, TV and local events.
It was founded by industry veterans, Jennifer Sargent, CEO, and Greg Ellwood, Editor-In-Chief.
