Crowdcast, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of social business intelligence solutions, closed a $6m Series A financing round.
The round was led by Menlo Ventures, with participation from existing investor Alsop-Louie Partners.
Crowdcast’s solution helps managers collect and leverage the insights of their team in order to make more accurate business decisions.
This new capital will help the company expand its sales and marketing efforts for its Social BI platform and integration programs with complementary enterprise solutions and channel partners.
To drive its global sales program, Crowdcast hired Bobbi Frioli as VP of Global Sales and Strategy.
The company recently launched its Executive Dashboard, designed to help decision-makers analyze employee forecasts, and announced partnerships with SAP® BusinessObjects™ GRC Solutions, Brightidea and Peer Insight.
