Coresonic AB, a Linköping, Sweden-based provider of baseband processor technology, has raised €2m (SEK 20m) in venture funding.
This round was led by SEB Venture Capital, with participation from existing investor Industrifonden.
The capital infusion will enable the company to expand its international sales efforts and continue to develop its technology platform.
Founded in 2004, Coresonic has developed a patented technology for digital signal processing. The product is a design, to be included in a chip as well as software tools and adapted to the specific application.
Customers are chip manufacturers of products including signal processing such as radio, phones, WiFi, etc.
The company is based on the outcome of a research project at Linköping University.
