WYPLAY SAS, a Alluach, France-based developer and provider of Connected-HDTVs, Media Center CE devices, HD IPTV boxes, HD Set Top Boxes, and in-home media-HDD products, has closed a €9m third financing round.
The round was led by Amundi Private Equity Funds, with participation from existing investors A Plus Finance, Elaia Partners and Sofinnova Partners.
Together with the two previous investment rounds totaling €14m, the third round of investment brings the amount raised by Wyplay to €23m over three years.
This new round will enable the company to expand its current offering by adding innovative web services including an Application Store and the aggregation of hundreds of on-line TV content providers.
Wyplay’s clients include SFR-Vodafone and D-Link.
