Payvment, a San Francisco, California-based Facebook e-commerce solution provider, has secured a $1.5m. The investment was led by BlueRun Ventures, with participation from well-known Silicon Valley tech entrepreneur and startup investor Dave McClure.
The company provides a free application that allows businesses, organizations and individuals to set up virtual storefronts and begin selling to Facebook users.
Payvment was founded in 2009 by Christian Taylor and Joelle Musante, who previously developed social network Fan Web sites for Fortune 500 companies.
