ScienceLogic, a Reston, VA-based IT operations and cloud monitoring provider, has raised $15m in its first round of equity funding from New Enterprise Associates (NEA).The cash infusion will enable the company to expand and accelerate cloud monitoring focus as service providers and enterprises embrace cloud computing.
ScienceLogic has built a comprehensive, scalable solution that monitors all of the infrastructure components that make up IT service delivery.
As stated by David Link, CEO and cofounder of the company, “Service providers have always needed this solution, and more enterprises are realizing that they need this critical piece as they make the move to build private clouds and utilize more public and hybrid cloud resources.
“With this funding, we aim to transform ScienceLogic into the company you turn to first, because we have already solved this problem for some of the most demanding enterprises and service providers”, Link said.
